No. When you tell someone to die, you don’t get to act like they don’t have a right to comment. I understand transphobia, and how it pervades every aspect of our daily lives,  but you don’t get to say “die cis scum” and then act like that when they complain.

When you tell people to die, you’re not making any fucking valid points. Expecting you to be civil to me doesn’t have shit to do with privilege. If you see the world as this black and white thing where it’s the privileged vs. the oppressed, you’ll never get the rights you want. You can’t look at someone who’s working to understand you and where you’re coming from— someone who wants you to enjoy the same privileges as they do, and tell them to “die cis scum” and expect to make any progress in your movement. If that’s your take on things, then I’m left with the assumption that you enjoy transphobia. That, or you enjoy complaining about it, because you sure as hell aren’t doing anything to help the trans* rights movement. Instead, you’re telling me to die. What did I, personally, do to you? Yeah, I’ve been guilty of my share of transphobic actions. I was ignorant once, and am still learning, because I genuinely believe you deserve to live in a world where you have a 41% chance of committing suicide. I don’t want that.

And, for future reference, I consider myself gender fluid. I suffer from gender based dysphoria and body dysmorphia for a few years before I learned how to deal with my gender issues. And yeah, my gender issues aren’t obvious. I will never be clocked. I understand that because of that, I have a privilege you don’t have. That doesn’t mean I need to fucking die.
